On June 25, the delegation led by Ramin Mammadov met with Jack Gerard, member of the General Authority Seventy and Europe Central Area Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Discussions centered on Azerbaijan’s religious landscape, state-religion relations, and its longstanding traditions of religious tolerance. Chairman Mammadov highlighted that countries with a strong culture of tolerance create a favorable environment for interfaith dialogue and cooperation, with Azerbaijan serving as a leading example.

Jack Gerard noted that Azerbaijan’s policies to expand interfaith dialogue offer valuable lessons for other countries and expressed his organization’s interest in developing cooperation in this direction.
