According to the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and regions of the heads of central executive authorities, on April 25, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, received citizens in the city of Sheki.
Before the reception, the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of the city was visited and his memory was honored.
During the reception, citizens from the cities and regions of Sheki, Oguz, and Gabala have made appeals regarding the issues of appointing clerics to places of worship related to the Islamic religion, providing religious communities with books, providing financial support to clerics, etc.
At the reception held with the participation of the heads of the relevant structural divisions of the State Committee, the appeals and proposals of the citizens were carefully listened to, their applications were accepted and instructions were given to take appropriate measures.
