A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, operating under the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, and “Dokuz Eylul” University of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Memorandum outlines various initiatives, including student exchange programs based on balanced participation, academic staff exchanges to enhance education and research cooperation, the sharing of teaching materials, scientific publications, and other educational resources. It also aims to explore joint research projects, develop teaching and research methodologies, and organize academic events to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience.

One of the primary objectives of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology is to enhance its international recognition and train highly qualified specialists by leveraging global experience. To this end, the Institute is establishing relationships with leading international universities in the field of theology and signing bilateral cooperation memoranda and agreements. Through these existing agreements, students of the Institute continue their theological studies at foreign universities.
