The Chairman of the Committee met with religious figures in the village mosque of Vaznash, Astara region

On October 20, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with religious figures working in the village mosque of Vaznesh, Astara region.
Ramin Mammadov emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev has achieved the highest level of regulation of state-religion relations in our country. Azerbaijan is one of the rare countries in the world where all religions are treated with respect, the bearer of every religion and the representative of the nation are treated equally.
The chairman of the committee noted that the activity of religious figures is important in preventing the abuse of religion by foreign forces, along with state institutions.
Clergymen expressed their high appreciation for the state's support to the religious field and emphasized that education plays a special role in protecting a healthy religious environment.
