Ramin Mammadov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with Mikhail Yevdokimov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in all fields and the importance of further strengthening the existing relations in the religious field were noted.

Ramin Mammadov, the Chairman of the State Committee informed the guest about the atmosphere of tolerance with centuries-old traditions in Azerbaijan, cooperation based on mutual respect and trust between representatives of different religions. The chairman also talked about the attention and care shown by President Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the political course of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, to the preservation of our national and moral values, the restoration of our historical and religious monuments, and the development of tolerant and multicultural values.

Ambassador Mikhail Yevdokimov noted that equal treatment of all religions and importance of the creation of an exemplary environment for the activity of religious communities is commendable.
