According to the schedule of the reception of citizens in cities and regions by the heads of the central executive authorities and other administrative bodies, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, received citizens in Lankaran region on October 21.
Before the reception, the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of the city was visited and his memory was honored.
During the reception, citizens from Lankaran, Astara and Lerik regions applied for the appointment of a cleric to the places of worship of Islam, state registration of the religious community, religious education, providing the mosque with religious literature and other issues.
At the reception held with the participation of the heads of the relevant structural units of the State Committee, citizens' appeals and proposals were carefully listened to, and instructions were given to take appropriate measures.
