The Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations (SCRA) Mubariz Gurbanli has met Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam.

During the meeting, the Chairman provided the guest with the detailed information about the regulation of state-religion relations, state’s support to various religions and activity of the State Committee in this direction. Mr. Gurbanli drew attention to the tolerant environment, relations and cooperation based on mutual respect and trust among different religions and confessions in Azerbaijan.

Speaking about the victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day war, which the country is celebrating these days, Mubariz Gurbanli has stressed the scale of Armenian vandalism in the liberated territories as well as the importance of the restoration and construction works carried out in Karabakh.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Secretary-General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam has praised Azerbaijan's efforts aimed at strengthening inter-religious relations and preserving various national and cultural values and traditions of multiculturalism. The institution that he leads is ready to support the activities and initiatives of our country in order to strengthen inter-religious solidarity, Mr. Mohamed Abdelsalam has expressed.
