Chairman of the State Committee on Religious Associations  Mubariz Gurbanli met with a delegation led by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Jean-Christophe Belliard who is on a visit to Azerbaijan on October 29.

Chairman of the State Committee highlighted the importance of bilateral relations while noting that Azerbaijan is one of the partner countries which EU attaches special importance.

Expressing his admiration for religious diversity, multiculturalism, solidarity and unity prayers in Azerbaijan, the guest highly appraised the policy pursued by Azerbaijan in the protection and promotion of historical tolerant values.
