On October 20, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, got acquainted with the activities of the "Lovayn" mosque of Kijaba settlement in Astara region.
The Chairman of the Committee touched on exemplary state-religion relations in Azerbaijan and drew attention to the importance of harmony and spiritual unity, which are the main pillars of this model. R. Mammadov emphasized that clergymen have important responsibilities in the work done in the direction of promoting these values. At the meeting, the suggestions of clergymen were heard regarding the strengthening of the fight against harmful religious trends, prevention of superstition, and further expansion of educational work in the field of religious-ideological propaganda.
