On May 28, within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, Ramin Mammadov, met with the Chairman of the Religious Affairs Department of Türkiye, Ali Erbaş. At the meeting, it was highlighted that the relations of brotherhood and friendship between our countries are developing successfully in all realms. It was accentuated that, as in other directions, cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of religion has been established at a high level, and both sides are keen interested in advancing these relations and expanding the exchange of experience related to the regulation of religious issues.

Later, the delegation led by Ramin Mammadov visited the Religious Academy and Religious Foundation of Türkiye. Ramin Mammadov drew attention to the fraternal relations between our peoples based on solid foundations formed throughout history during the meeting with the Chairman of the Academy of Religion, Enver Osman Kaan. While the meeting, the importance of the cooperation of the brotherly countries in the religious and spiritual field was emphasized, it was mentioned that it is important to develop relations between the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations and the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye. The delegation is accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Türkiye, Rashad Mammadov.
