The “Library in Every Mosque” project, implemented by the Promotion of Spiritual Values Foundation under the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, reached 250 places of worship in 2025. Within the framework of the project, books were provided to 109 city mosques, 54 settlement mosques, and 87 village mosques. The collection included not only religious works but also publications on philosophy, history, literature, and the humanities, as well as examples of Azerbaijani and world classics.

The main goal of the initiative is to promote national and spiritual values, particularly by fostering a culture of reading among young people, while also contributing to the development of mosques not only as places of worship but also as community and cultural centers.
