The Declaration of the Shusha Meeting of Religious Leaders has been adopted.

Within the framework of the 6th Baku World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, the Declaration of the Shusha Meeting of Religious Leaders has been adopted.

According to AZERTAC’s regional correspondent, the Shusha Declaration was adopted unanimously in Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. Participants praised the ‘Baku Process,’ initiated by President Ilham Aliyev, and expressed confidence in the successful organization of COP29, scheduled to be held in Baku this November.

The Shusha Meeting of Religious Leaders is actively taking place within the framework of the Forum, attended by leaders and representatives from Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and other religions, representing 38 countries and 10 international organizations.

As part of the Forum's activities, the religious leaders visited the city of Fuzuli before arriving in Shusha. The Meeting includes participation from various religious leaders, culminating in the adoption of the Shusha Declaration.

The participants will also explore the historical sites in Shusha and observing the restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the region.
