Religious leaders visited the city of Fuzuli
Within the VI World Intercultural Dialogue Forum, religious leaders visited the liberated city of Fuzuli.
The delegation first arrived at Fuzuli International Airport. They were informed about the international airport. It was reported that the Fuzuli International Airport, which is called the air gate of Karabakh, was built at the most modern level and has the ability to receive any aircraft.
The guests got acquainted with the destruction caused in Fuzuli, which was under the occupation of Armenia for nearly 30 years, as well as the restoration and construction works carried out by the Azerbaijani state after the liberation of the region from occupation.
Bashir Hajiyev, the deputy special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, gave detailed information to the guests about the crimes committed by Armenians against our country during the 30-year occupation. It was reported that the Armenian vandals looted the city of Fuzuli as well as the cities and villages they occupied and wiped it off the face of the earth. All houses, social facilities were destroyed, farms were destroyed.
It has been brought to attention that large-scale reconstruction works have been started in the territories freed from occupation as a result of the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. The construction of the first residential neighborhood in Fuzuli has been completed and the return of former IDPs to their homeland has begun.
The delegation then arrived at the secondary school No. 1 named after Mirza Ulugbey, which was built in Fuzuli. It was reported that the school built as a gift by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on behalf of the Uzbek people has a capacity of 960 students. The school, consisting of two floors and a basement, has 40 classrooms, 6 laboratories, 2 computer rooms, 5 functional study rooms, an assembly hall with 500 seats, a gym, a dining room with 320 seats, and a library. A football field, places for recreation and events, running lanes, chat rooms, checkpoint, boiler room, water tanks, and a transformer substation were built in the courtyard of the school. Construction works were carried out with high quality.
The guests then came to the Children's Creativity Center named after Kurmangazy, which was built in the city of Fuzuli. It was reported that the Children's Creative Center named after Kurmangazy is a gift of the fraternal Kazakh people to the people of Azerbaijan. The Center, which foundation was laid in March 2023, was established on an area of 1.5 hectares. The construction area of the object is 2700 square meters. In a two-story building, all conditions have been created for 600 children to receive extracurricular education in several shifts. There is a lecture hall, chess and cooking classes, art and sculpture studio, choreography and gym, recording room, music and vocal class, photo-video editing, web design and robotics rooms, assembly hall, 3D modeling class. In the center, special attention will be paid to IT startups and the national culture of Azerbaijan, including the art of carpet weaving.
