On April 24, the signing ceremony of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan documents was held with the participation of Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Sadyr Japarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan. 
As part of the visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission for Religious Affairs of Kyrgyzstan. The memorandum was signed by the chairman Ramin Mammadov on behalf of the State Committee, and by Toygonbay Abdikarov, the director of the relevant institution.
The document reflects the exchange of information and experience on the conduct of state policy in the field of religion, the support of partnership between religious educational institutions and cooperation on other issues of mutual interest.
