Chairman of the Committee met with Head of Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs
On March 11, Ramin Mammadov met with Ali Erbash, President of the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs, in Igdır.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the successful development of multifaceted relations between the two brotherly countries attributing this to the consistent and purposeful policies of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The discussion focused on further enhancing cooperation in the religious sphere.
Ali Erbash emphasized the global necessity of harmony and unity among different religions, cultures, and civilizations to promote peace and prevent conflicts. He praised Azerbaijan’s efforts in promoting Islamic solidarity and contributing to interfaith dialogue. Ramin Mammadov highlighted Azerbaijan’s role as a model for upholding universal values, such as equality, justice, humanitarianism, and peace, and emphasized the continued commitment to promoting these principles.
