Chairman of the Committee participated in Intra-Islamic Dialogue conference in Bahrain
Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, participated in the Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference held in Manama, Bahrain, on February 19-20, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The conference, titled “One Ummah, Shared Destiny,” was organized by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayyib, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, in cooperation with the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs (Bahrain), and the Council of Muslim Elders.
Participants included state officials, religious leaders, scholars, and representatives of civil society from numerous countries. The conference featured eight sessions aimed at promoting dialogue, consultation, and mutual understanding; strengthening Islamic solidarity, and developing joint initiatives for the future of the Muslim world and humanity.
The agenda included promoting the values of solidarity, combating fanaticism and superstition, fostering a constructive culture of Islamic dialogue, and addressing other related issues.
During the conference, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held meetings with delegation heads from various countries, emphasizing the importance of the conference in strengthening relations among Muslim peoples, promoting unity, and enhancing Islamic solidarity.
