State Committee Chairman met with Head of Georgia’s State Agency for Religious Affairs
Ramin Mammadov met with Zaza Vashakmadze, Head of Georgia’s State Agency for Religious Affairs. Chairman Mammadov praised the efforts to preserve the national, spiritual, and religious values of Azerbaijanis living in Georgia and emphasized the country’s tolerant and multicultural environment.
Zaza Vashakmadze acknowledged the traditional tolerant environment and state support for religious institutions, highlighting the importance of cooperation between religious organizations in both countries. The Azerbaijani Ambassador in Georgia, Faiq Quliyev, noted the role of bilateral relations in ensuring regional peace and security. The delegation also discussed cooperation between the parliaments and religious communities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
