Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, will participate in the 10th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), which will be held in Cascais, Portugal, on November 25-27.
160 members of the Group of Friends of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, political leaders, representatives of international and regional organizations, religious leaders and clerics are expected to participate in the event.
The forum is planned to discuss global issues related to peace and security, restoration of trust and solidarity in the world under the theme "Union of Peace: Restoring Trust, Rebuilding the Future: Discussions on Twenty Years of Dialogue for Humanity".

A conference on "State-religion relations: in the context of geopolitical realities and global challenges" will be held in Nakhchivan on November 30, organized by the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations.
In the sessions of the conference, various aspects of state-religion relations, problems in the field of religious education and their solutions will be discussed. At the conference, the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, the authorized representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan MR, the management of the State Agency for Work with Religious Institutions of Nakhchivan MR, the chairmen of the Religious Affairs Commission under local executive authorities, higher and secondary education institutions, representatives of law enforcement agencies, Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS, Nakhchivan Council of Elders and religious figures will participate.
Within the framework of the conference, the speeches of the representatives of the relevant state institutions will be heard and interactive discussions will be held.
