THE CHAIRMAN OF THE STATE COMMITTEE ON AFFAIRS WITH RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATIONS WILL TAKE PART IN THE GLOBAL DIALOGUE FORUM ORGANIZED BY KAICIID
The Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, Ramin Mammadov, will be participating in the Global Dialogue Forum organized by the International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) in Lisbon on May 15-16. The forum, themed "Transformative Dialogue: Building Alliances for Peace in a Rapidly Changing World," aims to formulate a roadmap for fostering transformative dialogue processes aligned with the objectives outlined in the UN 2030 Agenda. KAICIID, as the sole intergovernmental organization managed by representatives from all major religions globally, is dedicated to promoting peace, tolerance, and understanding among people of diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
The event will bring together former heads of government, representatives of influential international religious and political organizations, NGOs, religious centers, and scientific institutes. The agenda includes seven panel sessions focusing on topics such as fostering dialogue and trust, the role of religious and secular partnerships in addressing the root causes of conflict and warfare, the establishment of sustainable peace, and the conservation of natural resources and mitigation of climate change.
