On May 4, the chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, Ramin Mammadov, met with the director of the Institute of the Arab World in Paris, Karim Ifrak.

During the meeting, it was acknowledged that multiculturalism is embraced as a way of life in Azerbaijan, especially amidst the global rise of extremism and violence. The significance of the memorandum of understanding signed between the Institute of Theology of Azerbaijan and the Institute of the Arab World in Paris was highlighted, underscoring the necessity for further strengthening cooperation.
