On May 3, Ramin Mammadov, the Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, held a meeting with Ismet Jahan, the former permanent observer of the OIC in the European Union.

During the conversation, they underscored on Azerbaijan's embrace and advancement of multicultural values rooted in secular principles. They also highlighted Azerbaijan's establishment of a platform, strategy, and model aimed at fostering global peace. It was mutually acknowledged the significance of peaceful coexistence and the importance of interreligious dialogue in combating political and religious discrimination worldwide. Azerbaijan's initiatives in this regard were appreciated.
