On May 3, Ramin Mammadov, the chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with Fernando Lottenberg, the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Memorial Fund for Jewish Culture.

During the meeting, they discussed the promotion of traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism at the state level in Azerbaijan. They also highlighted the comprehensive attention and support provided to members of various religious communities, including Christians, Jews, and others, in addition to Islam. It was noted that Azerbaijan has registered 8 Jewish religious communities and that synagogues and schools are operational.
